Draft for review. Not yet in effect.
What we read
When you connect an account, we read your own profile counts (followers, posts), your own posts (captions, dates, links) and their stats (views, likes, comments, shares, saves, watch time, and audience age, gender and country where the platform gives them). We read nothing about other people's accounts.
Videos you check
When you check a video, the file is uploaded so the check can look at its frames and sound. It is deleted once the check is done. The check never analyses faces or bodies.
How we store it
Your TikTok and Instagram logins are stored encrypted and are never shown to anyone, you included. We keep a daily copy of your account stats so your history doesn't disappear when the platforms stop showing it.
Pooling (optional)
If you turn on "Pool my numbers", how each of your videos did against your own usual (for example, 1.8× your usual views) is combined with other creators in your niche. We only show totals for groups of 10 or more creators, rounded, and never your videos, captions, handle, follower count or raw views. It's off unless you turn it on. Turn it off in Settings, or delete your data, and your numbers are out of the pool by the next day. A new yes counts after a week, and the totals carry a little random noise, so no one creator's numbers can be worked out from them.
Other creators' public posts
For "In your niche this week" we read the public numbers and captions of public Instagram professional accounts through Instagram's Business Discovery. We describe their posts in our own words; we never download, copy or re-host their videos, captions or links. Captions are deleted after 45 days.
What we never do
We never post, comment or message for you. We never sell your data or use it for ads. We never analyse faces or bodies.
The beta application form
If you apply for the beta on this site, we store what you type in the form (your name, email, platform and handle, follower range, what you make and your note), when you sent it, and a hashed form of your connection address, which we keep only to stop spam. We use it to invite you to the beta and to contact you about it, nothing else. We never sell it or share it. To have it deleted, write to privacy@mexant.com.
18 and over
Unskippable is only for people who are 18 or older.
Deleting your data
In the app, tap Delete my data. That removes your connected accounts and every stat we stored. Disconnecting one account stops all further reads from it.
